In February 2022, Dr. Schulte was named chief executive officer of Deutz AG in Cologne, Germany, and chairman of the Board of Management, responsible for Head-office Functions, Sustainability and the Regions.

 Schulte began his professional career in 2008 at ThyssenKrupp AG, serving in various management roles throughout his tenure with the organization. As CFO of the marine division of ThyssenKrupp Companhia Siderúrgica do Atlântico / Ternium Brasil, he contributed to the successful restructuring and sale of the company’s steelworks in Rio de Janeiro. From 2018 to 2020, he was managing director and CFO of ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems in Hamburg/Kiel, Germany.

 Schulte joined Deutz in January 2021 as a member of the Board of Management and chief financial officer (CFO) and labor director responsible for Finance, Human Resources, Purchasing and Information Services.

 Schulte has a degree in economics from the University of Bochum (Germany) and a doctorate in finance & accounting from the University of Cambridge (UK).
